Job summary

Mercy Health seeks an RN Clinical Float Pool to float across sites within markets, providing patient care as needed. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care under the direction of a clinical manager, utilizing evidence-based practices and maintaining documentation accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing, with BSN preferred, and must be licensed in the designated state; BLS is required and ACLS/PALS may be required based on assignment.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Current nursing license in the state of employment is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• ACLS and PALS depending on specialty assignment are required by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float to various departments and sites as needed within the market.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care following standards.
• Coordinate nursing care using best available evidence.
• Document interventions and patient responses accordingly.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support professional practice model in care delivery.
