Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Float Pool at St. Francis Downtown. The RN floats to multiple departments and sites, assessing, planning and delivering patient care in line with standards, while supporting staffing and patient safety.

Requirements include an RN license in the designated state, BLS, and a willingness to float across markets; ACLS/PALS as needed. A BSN is preferred and EPIC is used for charting.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required to practice as an RN in the designated state.
• BSN preferred for ED float pool and career development.
• Current RN license in the designated state; BLS required.
• ACLS and PALS (per specialty) as per assignment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple departments and sites within markets as needed.
• Provide patient care following standards and documentation.
• Participate in staffing, scheduling and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with care teams under clinical management.
