Job summary

Essentia Health’s St. Mary’s campus in Superior, Wisconsin, seeks an experienced RN to join our ER/CC team. The role involves caring for patients across the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation cycle, with shifts including days, nights, and every-other weekend in a rotating 8-hour schedule.

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $7,500 (ADN) and up to $10,000 (BSN). Current licensure, BCLS within 1 month, ACLS/PALS/TNCC within 1 year are expected.

Qualifications

• Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year.
• Pediatric Advanced Life support (PALS) certification within 1 year.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year.
• RN Emergency Room or Critical Care experience required.

Education Qualifications:

Responsible for organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

This position will work the following:

• 64 hours per 2 weeks
• Every Other Weekend
• Rotating 8 Hour Shifts
• Day Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM
• Night Shift: 11:00PM - 7:30AM

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
