Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a full-time 0.9 FTE night shift in a 27-bed ED with dedicated chest pain beds.

You will work in a team-based nursing model supported by an ED pharmacist and a 24-hour social worker, with education scholarships and sign-on/relocation offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 1+ year RN experience; ED experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a 27-bed ED within a pediatric-level trauma center.
• Collaborate with ED pharmacist and 24-hour social worker to support patient care.
• Engage in continuing education and certification opportunities.

What you can expect from this role

• 27 bed unit with 5 chest pain beds
• Pediatric Level 2 Trauma Center
• Team-based nursing model (1:4-6 ratio)
• Self-scheduling unit in 6 week blocks
• Dedicated ED pharmacist and 24-hour social worker
• Continuing education scholarships - including conferences, certification, licensure
• Safe working environment reinforced by all team members
• Certification pay available
• Additional PTO for night shift offered
• Full-time (0.9 FTE), night shift opening

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing required, Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred
• Experience: 1+ year RN Experience; ED experience preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
