Job summary

Raleigh Rehabilitaion Center is seeking an experienced RN Staff Development Coordinator / Nurse Educator to lead training, orientation, and clinical education for our nursing staff in Raleigh, NC.

This leadership role focuses on mentoring nurses, maintaining regulatory training records, and driving quality improvement initiatives to strengthen team performance and retention.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Experience as a Staff Development Coordinator, Nurse Educator, or nursing leadership role preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for staff development and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation and onboarding for new nursing staff.
• Coordinate and conduct clinical education and in-service training.
• Provide hands-on skills training and competency evaluations.
• Mentor and support new nurses and nursing assistants.
• Maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives.
• Partner with nursing leadership to strengthen team performance and retention.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Day Shift
• On-call rotation as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation and onboarding for new nursing staff

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care required
• Previous experience as a Staff Development Coordinator, Nurse Educator, or nursing leadership role preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Passion for staff development and clinical excellence
