Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking an RN Education Coordinator in Des Moines, IA to maintain orientation programs, coordinate clinical staff education, and serve as a policy and regulatory resource for the Medical Group.

The role requires an Iowa RN license, BLS within 6 weeks, and completion of Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire. You will liaise with staff and directors and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current or compact state RN license required (Iowa).
• BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire (American Heart Association Healthcare Providers).
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain orientation program aligned with clinical standards for the Medical Group.
• Coordinate education activities and staff orientation to new equipment/procedures.
• Serve as liaison between new staff, staff, and Director.
• Lead policy/procedure updates and regulatory compliance reviews.
• Coordinate competency evaluations and department training programs.
• Organize and oversee point-of-care testing competencies.
• Participate in cross-departmental and external committees.
