Job summary

Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator (RN) to lead hospital-wide nursing education and orientation programs on a full-time, exempt basis. You will design, develop, and deliver educational activities for employed, contracted, and affiliated staff, ensuring competency with current practice standards.

Active Iowa RN license, Associate degree in Nursing, BLS, and at least five years of nursing experience with a clinical focus are required; prior nurse educator

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license (single-state or compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience with a clinical focus.
• Prior nurse educator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, plan and teach educational programs for employed, contracted and affiliated staff.
• Oversee orientation programs and contribute to new employee education.
• Lead organization-wide nursing education initiatives and maintain competency with current standards.
