Job summary

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Guilderland is seeking a dedicated RN Education Coordinator to lead staff development and clinical education in a long-term care setting. This role focuses on creating training programs, promoting high-quality care, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the nursing team.

You will design and deliver evidence-based education, onboard new staff, and partner with leadership to assess learning needs while maintaining a positive, collaborative learning

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license is required.
• Associate’s Degree in Healthcare or related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to promote a positive learning environment and support staff development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement evidence-based education and training programs for staff.
• Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to assess educational needs.
• Create, review, and update training materials, policies, and clinical resources.
• Provide education on clinical protocols, compliance standards, and best practices.
• Conduct orientation and onboarding for newly hired staff.
• Perform quality audits to monitor adherence to standards.
