Job summary

WellStar Health System in Georgia invites a skilled Emergency RN to join the W.E.S.T. Float Team. You will provide patient‑centered care across WellStar facilities, stepping in where you are most needed.

Requirements include 2+ years ED RN experience, active GA RN license (or Compact), and BLS/ACLS/PALS; BSN preferred. Travel between facilities is part of the role, with diverse ED environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent ED RN experience required.
• BSN preferred; graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in Georgia or Compact licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC/ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Document accurately and timely per WellStar standards.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Bring:

Experience :Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience required.

Education :Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) required.

Required Licensure/Certifications :Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.

BLS

• Basic Life Support required.

ACLS

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.

PALS

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.

TNCC

• Trauma Nurse Core Course or

ATCN

• Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cert preferred.
