Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an Emergency Department RN to join the W.E.S.T. Float Pool. You’ll work evening shifts across WellStar facilities, delivering expert, compassionate care in fast-paced ED settings.

Bring at least 2 years of ED experience, a current RN license (GA or Compact), and BLS/ACLS/PALS. TNCC and ATCN are preferred. You’ll rotate between sites, collaborate with a high-performing team, and expand your clinical skills within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred; ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, discharge instructions.
• Document accurately in WellStar standards.

What You’ll Done:

What You’ll Bring:

• Required Licensure/Certifications :Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.

BLS

• Basic Life Support required.

ACLS

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.

PALS

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.

TNCC

• Trauma Nurse Core Course or

ATCN

• Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cert preferred.
