Job summary

WellStar Health System is seeking an experienced ED RN to join the W.E.S.T. Float Team across WellStar facilities. You will deliver emergency nursing care in fast-paced ED settings, triage, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.

Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience, BSN preferred, active RN license (GA or Compact), BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required. This role offers travel between facilities and opportunities to grow within a large integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience.
• Active RN license GA or Compact.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS required.
• TNCC preferred or required per listing.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care: assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Respond to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation per WellStar standards.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Bring:

Required Licensure/Certifications :Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.

• Basic Life Support required.

ACLS

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.

PALS

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.

TNCC

• Trauma Nurse Core Course or

ATCN

• Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cert preferred.
