Job summary

WellStar Health System is seeking an experienced Emergency Nurse (RN) to join the W.E.S.T. Float Team, delivering high-quality patient care across WellStar facilities. The role offers evening shifts and a dynamic, travel-friendly environment.

As part of the Enterprise Support Team, you will triage, treat, and educate patients in fast-paced ED settings, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and maintain precise documentation in accordance with WellStar standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience.
• BSN preferred; accredited nursing program graduate.
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.
• BLS and ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• TNCC or ATCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care: assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with WellStar standards.

Required Licensure/Certifications :Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.

• Basic Life Support required.

ACLS

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.

PALS

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.

TNCC

• Trauma Nurse Core Course or

ATCN

• Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cert preferred.
