Job summary

WellStar Health System is seeking experienced Emergency Department registered nurses to join the W.E.S.T. Float Team. You will provide patient-centered, high-quality care across multiple WellStar facilities and adapt to fast-paced ED environments.

You will travel between facilities, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in delivering comprehensive emergency care. A BSN is preferred, with an active GA or Compact license and 2+ years of ED experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required; ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care, including assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Respond to critical situations and codes swiftly and effectively.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with WellStar standards.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Bring:

Experience :Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience required.

Education :Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) required.

Required Licensure/Certifications :Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.

BLS

• Basic Life Support required.

ACLS

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.

PALS

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.

TNCC

• Trauma Nurse Core Course or

ATCN

• Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cert preferred.
