Mercy Ridge Retirement Community in Timonium, MD seeks a Delegating Nurse – Nurse Manager for the Assisted Living program. This RN role oversees delegation of nursing tasks to LPNs and Resident Assistants, coordinates care, and acts as a clinical liaison with families and physicians.

The position requires Maryland RN licensure (BSN preferred), Delegating Nurse Certification, and CPR. Supervisory experience and EMR familiarity are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license required (BSN preferred).
• Delegating Nurse Certification for Assisted Living is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Designated RN delegating nurse; supervise nursing tasks by LPNs and Resident Assistants.
• Assess residents using nursing process; plan, implement, evaluate care.
• Coordinate Service Plans and participate in care conferences with families.
• Act as clinical liaison between residents, physicians, and families; communicate changes.
• Review documentation for accuracy; ensure proper handoffs across shifts.
• Provide education, coaching, and competency evaluations for direct-care staff.
