Job summary

Asbury Solomons, part of Asbury Communities, seeks a highly qualified Full-Time RN to join as the Delegating Nurse. You will lead clinical quality initiatives, conduct resident assessments, oversee care planning, and provide education and support to caregivers in a resident-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Delegating Nurse/Case Management certificate in MD required or obtained within 30 days.
• Current RN License from MD.
• CPR Certification and First Aid Certification within 30 days.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the effectiveness of nursing practices and oversees 24-hour care per policy and regulations.
• Assists the Director of Nursing in daily supervision of Health Care Unit and Assisted Living.
• Ensures staff compliance with job descriptions, policies and performance standards.
• Collaborates with HR in orientation and addressing performance deficiencies.
• Supports mid-year and annual performance reviews and tracks associate goals.
• Manages Quality Assurance activities and staff education programs.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

MD Delegating Nurse/Case Management certificate

Current MD RN License

CPR Certification
