National Lutheran Communities & Services in Rockville, MD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Delegating Nurse to join our Assisted Living team on a PRN basis. You will provide clinical oversight, lead care teams, and help residents maintain independence and quality of life.

This role focuses on delegating nursing tasks, coordinating with caregivers, and ensuring safe, personalized care while meeting regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• RN license in good standing.
• Qualifications appropriate to perform Delegating Nurse responsibilities in an Assisted Living setting.
• Experience in Assisted Living, senior living, or long-term care is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing oversight and support for residents within Assisted Living.
• Complete resident assessments and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Delegate appropriate nursing functions to qualified team members in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Provide education, guidance, and clinical support to caregivers and medication technicians.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
• Review medication administration practices and support safe medication management.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, pharmacy partners, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Help ensure nursing documentation and care practices meet organizational and regulatory standards.
• Serve as a trusted clinical resource while promoting a resident-centered approach to care.
