Job summary

Seaton Senior Living in Towson, MD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to supervise the nursing department as a Delegating Nurse. You will oversee care coordination, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead staff for quality resident outcomes.

You will collaborate with the Health & Wellness leadership, coordinate with outside providers, and mentor staff through training, assessments, and performance reviews to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with current licensure.
• Must possess Delegating Nurse responsibilities.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Excellent management and communication skills to coordinate care with residents, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for all aspects of resident care, including case management and coordination of care.
• Completes self-medication assessment every three months.
• Completes comprehensive nursing assessment upon admission and every 45 days.
• Updates RAT annually or with significant condition changes.
• Provides staff training and education on care planning.
• Oversees clinical oversight of resident care in Assisted Living.
• Responds to incident/accident reports within regulatory time frames and coordinates interventions.
• Supervises nursing staff with Director of Health & Wellness (coaching, evaluation, scheduling, payroll).
• Encourage staff participation in employee satisfaction surveys and drive improvements.
