Qualifications

• RN license required (active)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS must be obtained within specified timeframes
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma or BSN as minimum education

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery
• Educate patients and families about peri-operative care
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative meds
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols
• Monitor patient condition and document changes
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in OR with team
• Educate patients on treatment and follow-up measures
