Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Med Surg day shift. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible, experienced RNs. The role focuses on patient-centered care and collaboration with the care team to ensure positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state.
• 1+ year of RN experience preferred.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans with the team.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and discharge plans.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in unit.
• Operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, and compliance.
