Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift in the Med Surg unit. You will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams, and support patients and families throughout the care continuum.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting required
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients and document findings; report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
