Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Sahuarita is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg unit on the night shift. The RN will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and document assessments, plans, and treatments.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible RNs. Qualifications include 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience and active RN licensure; BCLS is required and ACLS/PALS are preferred.

• 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.

• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
