Job summary

Avamere Rehab of King City in Tigard, OR is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift from 6 am to 2 pm. You will assess residents, administer meds, monitor health, and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team.

You will supervise LPNs and CNAs and ensure accurate documentation and ongoing quality care. Must have an accredited nursing degree and an active OR RN license; BSN preferred and CPR/BLS required.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active RN license in this state; BSN preferred.
• Maintain CPR/BLS certification during employment.
• Experience in long-term care, geriatric rehab, or sub-acute/critical care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Monitor vital signs and document findings.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other staff.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation and training.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and communicate with families.
