Avamere Transitional Care at Sunnyside in Salem seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for evenings, full-time or part-time. The RN will perform patient assessments, administer medications, monitor health, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team while supervising LPNs and CNAs.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, active Oregon RN license, CPR/BLS, and LTC experience. EMR documentation and ongoing professional development are emphasized within a supportive Avamere environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold an active, unencumbered RN license in Oregon; BSN preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required during employment or maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor responses.
• Document vital signs and care plans; update records in EMR.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation and training.
• Coordinate care and participate in team meetings; ensure quality care.
