Job summary

Avamere Rehab of King City in Tigard, OR is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the day shift (6 am–2 pm) on a full-time basis. You will assess residents, administer medications, monitor health, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.

This role includes supervising LPNs and CNAs, maintaining thorough documentation, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality skilled nursing care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN license in the state (Oregon); BSN preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required/maintained during employment.
• Experience in long-term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute, or critical care settings preferred.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor patient responses.
• Document vital signs, assessments, and interventions accurately and promptly.
• Supervise and train LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation for new staff.
