Job summary

Avamere Rehabilitation of Eugene in Eugene, OR is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in a skilled nursing setting. Responsibilities include resident assessments, medication administration, health monitoring, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team.

The role offers Full-Time and Part-Time positions with EVEs and NOCs shifts; PRN also available across all shifts. A valid Oregon RN license and CPR/BLS are required, with long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Must possess a current, active RN license in Oregon (BSN preferred).
CPR/BLS certification required during employment.
Experience in long-term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute, or critical care settings preferred.
Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
Monitor health status, document interventions, and communicate changes to the physician.
Supervise licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and CNAs; provide orientation and training for staff.
