Job summary

Incredible Health in Newark, NJ is seeking an RN - Critical Care to join our network of hospitals delivering high-acuity care. You will monitor critically ill patients, operate life-support systems, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.

The role requires ADN or higher nursing degree and an active RN license; ICU experience preferred. Shifts include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions and intervene with appropriate care.

• Participate in rapid response and emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and plan.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care , Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skill
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess a patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care
• Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions
• Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
• Administer medications and other treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
