Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring an RN - Critical Care in Long Beach, CA. Shift availability includes day and night, with full-time, part-time, and per diem options. Eligible candidates have an RN license, ICU experience preferred, and ACLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required or active and unencumbered registered nurse license.
• 1+ years of ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work under stress with strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions and intervene with appropriate care.
• Monitor and care for critically ill or unstable patients.
• Manage life-support systems such as ventilation and cardiac monitoring.
• Participate in rapid response and emergency situations.
• Administer medications and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to function effectively under stress
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skill
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess a patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care
• Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions
• Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
• Administer medications and other treatmentsCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan

Salary: $60,000 to $161,878 /year
