Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintaining general medical inventory and controlled substances.
• Conducting medication administration.
• Reviewing youth health conditions and evaluating nursing intervention plans.
• Ensuring interventions align with treatment plans.
• Participating in staff trainings and preparing clinical/admin reports.
• Maintaining infection control standards as part of the medical team.

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintaining general medical inventory (including controlled substances);

• Conducting medication administration

• Reviewing the overall health conditions of youth (i.e. preparing, reviewing and evaluating nursing intervention plans)

• Ensuring that interventions are consistent with comprehensive treatment plans

• Participating in staff trainings

• Preparing required clinical and administrative reports

• Maintain infection control standards; and, serve as a member of the facility’s medical treatment team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedNY license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of one (1) year/s of recent experience as an RN.

• Additional certifications may be required.

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
