Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for correctional healthcare assignments in Brentwood, TN.

This contract role offers travel pay of $24.00 per hour, plus lodging ($672) and meals ($134) stipends totaling $1,085, with an overall compensation of $1,949 for eligible shifts. Minimum requirements include an active Oklahoma RN license, BLS, and at least 12 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Active and current RN license issued by the State of Oklahoma.
• Current BLS card (American Heart Association).
• Proficiency in English for communication with staff and patients.
• Must possess licensure in the state of employment.
• PSV/verification documentation as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during treatments and exams.
• Observes patient vital signs and notifies supervisor or physician as needed.

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 70 miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

Full Time Schedules

Some weekends may be required

8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility

Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)

Nights 6 weeks Auto Offer Possible 36/48 rotation

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provides general nursing care to patients

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.

• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.

• Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.

• Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.

• May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients.

• Additional RN duties given by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse

• A valid and current RN license issued by the State of OK

• A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)

• Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.

• Must possess current licensure in the state of employment.

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
