Job summary

Wellspring Lutheran Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing setting. You will lead clinical care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and advocate for residents' well-being across various shifts at Wellspring's Fairview location.

The role emphasizes dignity, comfort, and independence while supporting families and maintaining high standards of safety and quality in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain CPR certification.
• Nursing experience in skilled nursing, home health, medical-surgical, critical care, or related settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care aligned with each resident's needs and goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and the care team for coordinated care.
• Assess conditions, monitor changes, implement orders, and advocate interventions.
• Mentor nursing assistants and guide admissions, discharges, and care transitions.
• Contribute to safety, environment, and resident-centered care across shifts.
• Support families and maintain professional, compassionate relationships.
