Qualifications

• Current Michigan LPN license.
• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain CPR certification.
• Nursing experience in skilled nursing, home health, medical-surgical, critical care, or related settings preferred.
• Strong clinical, assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care to residents, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Advocate for residents and collaborate with physicians, nursing assistants, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor condition changes, implement physician orders, and ensure timely interventions.
• Guide and support nursing assistants, promoting teamwork and resident safety.
• Participate in admissions, discharges, care planning, and ongoing assessments.
