Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson Festus, MO is seeking a Clinical Team Leader for night shift (36 hours per week) to oversee operations and patient care in designated areas. The role includes acting as a clinical resource for staff and patients and stepping in as staff nurse when needed.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, 2 years of direct patient care experience, 1 year as department charge nurse, and BLS/NRP certifications. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• Current state licensure in applicable state of practice.
• Two years direct patient care experience as a registered nurse.
• One year experience as department charge nurse.
• BLS and NRP certifications/registrations.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Serves as clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties as delegated by manager.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy mission and standards.
