Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in Missouri seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Clinical Supervisor on the Weekend shift. The role oversees staffing, patient flow, and care delivery, partnering with physicians and administration to maintain high-quality, cost-effective care.

You will mentor staff, drive process improvements, and ensure policy adherence while engaging with the Staffing Office and Clinical Manager to support safe patient care during night shifts.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Missouri or compact; BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care and manage patient flow.
• Collaborate with physicians and administrative personnel to improve processes across the continuum.
• Lead change by providing mentorship and guidance to staff while ensuring policy adherence.
• Involve Staffing Office and Clinical Manager in evaluation and bed management as directed.
