Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Supervisor for weekend shifts. This full-time role leads patient care teams, ensures staffing adequacy, and drives quality and efficiency under Mercy standards.

You will collaborate with physicians and administrative staff to improve processes, mentor junior nurses, and uphold safety and regulatory requirements while delivering compassionate care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and efficient unit staffing.
• Lead weekend shift and collaborate with clinical manager.
• Promote change and mentor staff.
• Support patient flow and bed management in collaboration with Staffing Office.
