Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Supervisor for the weekend shift. Location: 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128. Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week.

Shift: Night Shift. The Clinical Supervisor ensures safe, high-quality care and collaborates across administrative staff, physicians and co-workers to optimize patient flow and staffing. The role requires 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience, MO RN license or compact licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Supervisor assures delivery of safe, high-quality and cost-effective care and models professional standards.
• Involved in staffing and patient flow, bed management, and collaboration with the Staffing Office and Clinical Manager.
• Evaluates staff via collaboration with the Clinical Manager and supports change management and leadership development.
