Job summary

The RN position in the 12A Telemetry Unit at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA offers high acuity post-surgical care for cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and transplant patients. This is a full-time role with 72 hours per two weeks and rotating weekends/holidays.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, perform ongoing assessments, and educate patients and families while ensuring regulatory compliance. Active PA RN license and CPR are required, along with background clearances.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or licensure valid through eNLC.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34/33/73 background clearances.
• Ability to care for high-acuity post-surgical patients in telemetry.

Requirements

• Education: Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
• Experience: Minimum Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Experience: Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Experience: Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Licenses & Certifications: CPR certification required
