Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks a Research Coordinator to execute and coordinate the informed consent process for participants in clinical trials and research studies, screening for eligibility and informing about study details.

You will maintain records, coordinate biospecimen collection, act as the study contact, and support budgets and multidisciplinary teams while working in a fast-paced clinical research environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• HIPAA knowledge and patient advocacy required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical/research environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate the informed consent process for participants in clinical trials and research studies.
• Screen potential participants to determine eligibility for trials and studies.
• Provide detailed information about the study, including purpose, procedures, risks and benefits.
• Maintain accurate records of informed consent, including signed forms and discussions.
• Coordinate biospecimen collection and HIPAA-protected data linking patient information to biospecimens.
• Serve as the study-specific clinical point of contact for participants, investigators, staff and partners.
• Support project budgets and conserve resources while overseeing proposed budgets.
