AdventHealth Orlando is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to coordinate multi-study protocols, oversee space and staffing, and ensure compliance with SOPs. Qualifications

• [Required] Demonstrated ability to perform clinical tasks assisting physicians, mid-level providers, and CRN with minor procedures and other study requirements within scope of practice.
• [Required] Acclimate and integrate into various clinical settings as needed per study protocol.
• [Required] Demonstrated skills in clinical competencies including physical assessment, phlebotomy, IV insertion, and administration of investigational drugs in accordance with policies and procedures.
• [Required] Knowledge of Federal regulations: FDA, CDC, DHHS governing the conduct of clinical research.
• [Required] Specialized knowledge of the unique needs of volunteers and patients participating in clinical trials.
• [Required] Proficiency with coordination of multiple clinical trials, while providing supervisory support to the team.
• [Required] Demonstrated ability to critically think in a fast-paced environment, with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• [Required] Sensitivity to cost-containment measures and ability to create an atmosphere which encourages this practice.
• [Required] Proficient with a clinical trials management system (CTMS).
• [Required] Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access and ability to learn business-relevant software and tools.
• [Required] Reliability and promptness in completing administrative assignments effectively.
• [Required] Leadership ability, accepts responsibility, exercises authority, and functions independently using effective written and verbal communications.
• [Required] In-depth knowledge of the regulatory process that oversees investigational research.
• [Required] Ability to conduct Human Resources—related functions to support the research team.
• [Required] Plan, organize, direct, and oversee all activities related to clinical research.

• [Oversee] Manage clinical space and turnover per SOPs to enable study execution.
• [Maintain] Skills in physical assessment, phlebotomy, IV insertion, and administration of investigational drugs.
• [Ensure] Maintain inventory levels and order equipment; manage supplies.
• [Develop] SOPs and ensure teams follow established processes.
• [Mentor] Provide guidance and training to promote team growth.
• [Lead] Talent Acquisition, team development, and performance management of research staff.
• [Collaborate] Work with operations, study intake, and partners for smooth start-up.
