Job summary

TriStar Horizon Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Support Coordinator to mentor new graduate nurses and those transitioning to new specialties, guiding them in skills, clinical judgment, and safe care. You will round on units, offer real-time coaching, and support rapid responses to reinforce learning.

The role emphasizes safety standards, regulatory expectations, and effective communication (AIDET, Teach-Back).

Qualifications

• Must be an RN with current license.
• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Degrees or diploma in nursing must be completed within 15 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on nursing units to observe care and coach in real-time.
• Guide new and transitioning nurses through skill development and care planning.
• Provide hands-on support during rapid responses and codes with debriefs.
