Job summary

The Arc Mercer in New Jersey seeks an RN Residential Nurse Manager to oversee health services across multiple community homes. This field-based role emphasizes clinical leadership, proactive wellness, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You'll lead clinical strategy, partner with families and providers, and drive health outcomes in a stable residential program setting. A NJ RN license and BSN/ADN are required, with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license.
• ADN or BSN required.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in community/home care/IDD a plus.
• Comfort working independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily health oversight for 6–10 community homes (25–35 individuals).
• Conduct routine wellness checks during home visits.
• Monitor chronic conditions and review medications/MARs.
• Coach staff on health tasks and prepare individuals/staff for medical appointments.
• Document health updates and communicate with families, providers, and internal teams.
• Coordinate care with Behavioral Services and maintain quality tracking.
