Job summary

The Arc of Union County in New Jersey is seeking a Healthcare Support Specialist, Clinical Services, to implement nursing service delivery strategies and collaborate with administration to support each service recipient's well-being. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing; RN license; ANCC certification; Developmental Disabilities Nurse (CDDN) certification required after hire.
Master's nurse-prepared nurse preferred.
Two or more years of experience in a long-term care setting with clinical experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of DDD, CMS, CARF, and Adult Day Habilitation standards and other regulations; strong planning and communication skills.
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and good humor.
Must meet age and licensing requirements; clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

Implement and facilitate nursing service delivery strategies approved by leadership.
Collaborate with administration, medical professionals, consultants, and external agencies to coordinate care.
Provide nursing services and preventive health services to residents.
Monitor and document health needs; identify emerging health concerns and provide interventions.
Maintain compliance with regulations and agency policies; participate in ongoing quality improvement.
