Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's preferred.
• AHA BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
• BLS Instructor certification within 3 years of start.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• 3–5 years of recent clinical experience and education experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates orientation of new and transferred staff.
• Develops, manages, and coordinates education programs and mandatory trainings.
• Collaborates with Patient Safety Officer to promote quality and safety.
• Works with Quality Director to maintain the quality program and staff education.
• Leads committees or projects related to educational activities.
• Delivers educational content to support orientation and safe practice.
• Encourages professional growth through ongoing education and conferences.
