Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC seeks an Educator (RN) Clinical – Education and Training. This non-exempt role schedules 40 hours, with days and occasional nights/weekends, reporting to the Education Director.

The educator updates education programs, coordinates orientation, and leads clinical education initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a BSN, RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS instructor credentials within specified timelines, and 3–5 years of clinical/education

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN) required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers.
• BLS Instructor eligibility within 3 years of start date.
• ACLS and PALS Instructor within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mock drills on all shifts and weekends.
• Orient new contract nurses and new hires; train in Handle with Care, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Assist with equipment implementation and staff training; update tests and competencies.
• Develop and teach at Skills Fair; collaborate with students and colleges for clinical/shadow experiences.
• Handle administrative duties: enter HealthStream modules, IT requests, rosters, class filing.
