Job summary

Penn Medicine, a leading academic medical center, seeks a skilled nurse leader to coordinate OR Case Cart activities at the Interventional Support Center. You will collaborate with the OR Nurse Manager, surgeons, and staff to manage case carts, ISC personnel, and material resources.

You will lead clinical operations, ensure implants and supplies are stocked, and oversee fiscal aspects while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships across perioperative teams.

Qualifications

• RN-PA credential required.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
• CARE level II or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in clinical care as necessary.
• Assumes overall accountability for their area of responsibility. Delegates responsibility to others in their absence.
• Maintains positive and effective interpersonal relations with all ISC and perioperative team members.
• Exhibits leadership in problem solving, prioritization and clinical excellence.
• Collaborates with ISC and Periop leadership and provides feedback on staff performance.
• Supports the shared governance model.
• Designs and implements actions to maintain fiscal responsibility of their area.
• Ensures required items (implants and supplies) are in place prior to scheduled operative cases.
• Identifies scheduling conflicts and resolves proactively.
• Acts as primary liaison for clinical issues between entity and ISC.
