Job summary

Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, PA seeks an experienced nurse coordinator to oversee OR Case Cart operations at the Interventional Support Center (ISC), ensuring availability of implants and supplies for scheduled surgeries.

You will collaborate with the OR Nurse Manager, attending surgeons, sterile processing, MSP staff and vendors, and lead ISC staff, driving fiscal accountability while maintaining patient safety and care standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse - PA (Required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
• Education Specialization:NursingEquivalent Experience:CARE level II or equivalent years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in clinical care as necessary.
• Assumes overall accountability for their area of responsibility.
• Delivers leadership in problem solving and setting priorities.
• Collaborates with ISC and Periop leadership and provides tangible feedback concerning staff performance.
• Ensures implants and supplies are in place prior to scheduled operative cases.

Education

Bachelor of Arts or Science

Nursing CARE level II or equivalent years of experience
