Penn Medicine is seeking a Nursing Leader to assume 24-hour accountability for the operation of designated OR services, including Urology, Ortho Oncology, and Otorhinolaryngology. You will lead a team to improve patient care, staff development, and ensure service excellence in collaboration with UPHS leadership.

You will drive patient satisfaction, quality of care, and regulatory compliance while managing change and optimizing workflows in a complex academic medical center environment.

Formación

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required).
• BLS/CPR as a healthcare provider as per American Heart Association required.
• Registered Nurse (PA) required.

Responsabilidades

• Assumes 24-hour accountability for the operation of the designated services in the Operating Room, leading to improved patient care and nursing goals.
• Improve employee satisfaction and communication; develop action plans and follow through.
• Establish and update processes and work practices for the unit/department in alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage team and individual performance in alignment with UPHS vision of service excellence and pursue patient satisfaction goals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local standards and prepare for Magnet alignment.
• Lead change management initiatives and communicate major messages consistently.
• Provide vision and leadership for Nursing Practice Model and collaborate with leaders to implement best practices.
