Job summary

Penn Medicine – Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Resource Team Nurse to join the weekend OR Team. The Perioperative Nursing Clinical Coordinator role oversees patient flow, staffing, and EPIC system usage to support safe, efficient care across the OR.

Primary shifts are weekend days; flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules is available. The position requires active PA RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and BSN with 2–5 years OR nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Registered Nurse in PA licensure is required.
• 2–5 years of OR nursing experience preferred; not required.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required or comparable.
• Nurse Residency Program may be required or applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing of the Periop department on a 24/7 basis.
• Support patient flow and EPIC system use for case classifications and transfers.
• Supervise and evaluate patient care activities and serve as a resource for staff.
