Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Colorado Springs seeks an RN Clinical Coordinator to support the department director by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit. You will serve as a vital clinical resource and professional role model, ensuring high-quality care and strong inter-team collaboration.

You will assess patient needs, develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, supervise shift operations, and maintain safe staffing.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or by endorsement.
• One year of clinical RN experience.
• RN license to practice in state of employment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
• Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
• Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care.
• Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.
