Job summary

Longmont United Hospital in Colorado seeks an RN Clinical Coordinator to support the department director by coordinating clinical and department activities, serving as a key clinical resource and role model for staff.

You will provide clinical leadership, ensure high-quality care, act as liaison between physicians and the patient care team, and oversee shift operations, assignment of duties, and patient care planning in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or by endorsement.
• One (1) year of clinical RN experience.
• RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and evaluates responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develops and implements patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides leadership and coordinates unit operations during the shift.
• Directs, organizes, and prioritizes shift activities to meet patient care and staff needs.
• Ensures appropriate admissions and staff mix for safe care.
• Acts as liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.
