Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality and coordinating care with other department teams in the Pediatric ICU, Pediatrics, and NICU. This role emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and compassionate care aligned with Mercy Service Standards.

The night shift runs 7p–7a, full time, with weekend and holiday rotations. Only experienced nurses are considered; new graduates are not eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Physical ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds; frequent standing and walking.

Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Position Details:

Will float to Pediatric ICU, Pediatrics and NICU.

Nightshift 7p-7a. Full time only. Will rotate weekends/holidays.

Experienced Nurses only- No new graduates.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.


• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.


• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
